I'm going to try to put together some documentation soon. The main goal was just to make it a little easier to go from having a pandas dataframe to some pretty javascript visualizations. From looking at Spyre, I got the impression he was going for a more pure python approach using the standard plotting libraries. I wanted some convenience functions for some common charts, but tried to keep it flexible. It's no where near the level of Shiny yet, but it covers most of what I was using Shiny for on a day-to-day basis.
