Hi! First of all, thanks for maintaining this docker container. Really helpful for my current project.

Currently it seems that the FTP HASH command is not supported. Would be nice if this could be added. Do you see any chance to get this implemented in this Container, or is this out of scope and more a thing for pure-ftpd?

Anyway, if this find it's way it this Container I would be really happy and willing to sponsor a bunch of coffees.

Hey @Akjo4712
That's awesome, glad it's been useful for you.

I've actually not run into the FTP HASH command before, looks pretty useful but just had a look around and I couldn't spot anything about support for it in pure-ftpd atm sorry.

Probably one for the main pure-ftpd project, but if you find out there's a way for us to compile in support for it let me know 🙂
Thanks!

Thanks for your response. Any Idea where to correctly propose such a Feature? I had a look at the official Git Repository (https://github.com/jedisct1/pure-ftpd/) and it seems as there is no issue section. As stated on the Project Website (https://www.pureftpd.org/project/pure-ftpd/support/), there is commercial Support from Primulinus (https://primulinus.com/). I wrote to him/them, but I am curious if there is another way to ask the community for such a Feature and Discuss the Idea.

As this is obvious out of Scope you might close the Issue, I woul kindly reopen this Issue if the HASH command is supported by pure-ftpd and adoptions to the Container are needed to make it available in the Container.

Ah yeah I guess they do things via the community discussions mailing list but I've never reached out on there sorry.
There's an email address on that support link about joining the mailing list so maybe worth trying that.

& sure thing, if it's added to the core pure-ftpd project then I'd happily enable it in the container too, thanks for bringing it to my attention too.
