Compilation of ideas and proposals for cheats and other features for Terraclient.
Feel free to suggest ideas in the comments of this issue or PR additions!

• Forcefully spawning items (Journey Mode creative without item sacrifice requirements).
  • Furthermore, the ability to instantly unlock all items? Added.
• Forced admin permissions on TShock. Likely not possible, droped until further notice.
• Infinite flight. (Incorporate into GodMode? Configurable? Use a command as well.)
• Ghost (Toggleable as a command.)
  • Potential no-clipping instead of flight and ghost being separate, I suppose.
• Item stat modifications. (Through commands or a nice-looking UI.)
  • Message from Crystal Claire in verbatim: "Ability to adjust items or NPCs, like changing the attack damage of terra blade to 190, and making it shoot two projectiles, or having duke fishron do five dashes instead of four, and he inflicts you with electrified debuff, or even uses different projectiles". (NPCs are not planned.)
• Freelook
  • In detail: being able to unhook and move the camera view without moving the player
• Direct player stat modifications (through commands, preferably.)
  • Such as: Directly modifying HP, mana, defense, speed, etc.
  • As well as buffs, potentially.
• NPC Spawning Done, incorporated into the bestiary. MP WORKING, TSHOCK TESTING.
• Modification of downed bools and other important fields. (Through commands.)
• TEdit-esque terrain modification (hard) (likely not possible under normal circumstances.) Scrapped because no. :)
• The incorporation of some cheat commands from ModHelpers (thanks Hamstar!)

• InventoryPeek (easy (playerInstance.inventory))
• Blink/Checkpoint (hard)
  • Basically not sending movement packets to the server, causing your player to teleport once the hack is again disabled.
• PVP, even when players don't have it toggled. (not possible because of server and client differences, most likely)

Too many variables to account for in terms of armor auto-equpping. Speed should be easy enough.

I believe this is already possible through the cheat. I may need to patch out checks for deprecated items, though.

I just checked and it looks as if the last release was made before the command was added. At the moment, you will need to build the mod yourself (meaning you need the latest build, not the latest release) I will put in a comment to stevie concerning another release with the newer features.

(like "g" for godmode)
btw make it so that it informs you that the cheat is active/deactivated instead of CommandResponse.ToggleSentence
And if possible
Add Buffs to yourself
And Remove debuffs,buffs
also make it so that you can drag teleport from the map, i feel like that's easier than clicking on the map

I'd be interested in making an .execute command so technical users can sort of just activate code from the chat window. We won't cover all the cheats, so if people had a way to from inside the game tell the game to execute a script from github or just change a variable of their player.
I have some ideas as to parameters that can be set up, such as specifying that one wants the code to be run on the game's update loop, specifying that the code shouldn't be run if the game is paused, etc. so that there's a bunch of freedom with it and players can share custom commands that don't need to be installed in the main menu.
One can translate an Action definition from a webhosted file, the way it's done with powershell scripts, and either run it once in a context of choice (e.g. from Main.cs) and discard the memory, or we can take an action definition and add it to a list of actions that get run in order depending on a selected context.
This could also probably be completely unviable or useless but it's a thought I wanted to put down mostly based on made up concepts so it may never make sense to try to add such things... but it would sort of be the way people can add their own custom client elements, like a new window meant for tools to paint the world map with if someone programmed that.
