Existing player/world compatibility

When I try to add my existing players/worlds to the terra client player/world folders they don't work right. When I start terraria and go to singleplayer all of the existing players that I added to the terra client folder show up but when I press play is just doesn't work. I even made a new player just to see if the worlds worked, but when I select one of the worlds I get an error saying their isn't a world backup even though their is. I don't know if I'm just being stupid or if this is an actual bug

Terraclient is currently outdated.

I managed to port over the player .plr files using terrasavr but is there anything I can do about the worlds? Also, what version is terraclient currently on?
