I am not very familiar with vscode extension authoring, but I am trying to better understand this problem so that I might contribute a solution.
After installing regex workbench I started receiving the error included below. The extension host continues trying to start and keeps failing. I am not sure if it is regex workbench or Jest extension by orta.vscode-jest-3.2.0
I will contact them as well.
