Ability to emit from guards

Hi,
Can you consider supporting emitting also from guards?
The use case would to be able to provide a varied feedback from a guard, e.g:

  guards: {
    isValid: function ({ context, event }) {
      if (!context.X) {
        emit({ type: "warn", msg: "X is missing" });
        return false;
      }
      if (context.Y !== "CONFIRMED") {
        emit({ type: "warn", msg: "Y has to be confirmed to proceed" });
        return false;
      }
      //...more conditionals
      return true;
    },
  },

Guards are meant to be deterministic and side-effect free so this is not a good fit here
