For the info button on the available climate data please see this for reference:

More details are in the documentation pdf

A modified brief could be:
NEX-DCP30: Downscaled 30 Arc-Second CMIP5 Climate Projections for
Studies of Climate Change Impacts in the United States
This NASA dataset is provided to assist the science community in conducting studies of climate
change impacts at local to regional scales, and to enhance public understanding of possible future
climate patterns and climate impacts at the scale of individual neighborhoods and communities. These are derived from General Circulation Model (GCM) runs conducted under the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) [Taylor et al. 2012] and across the four greenhouse gas emissions scenarios known as Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) [Meinshausen et al. 2011] developed for the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC AR5). We provide three scenarios here: observed or modern (years 1950-2005), RCP 4.5, RCP 8.5 (for comparison of scenarios). Details and contact information are here https://cds.nccs.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/NEX-DCP30_Tech_Note_v0.pdf

Added grey info button next to raster picker. It's very basic, just links to the API endpoint which displays raster details.

Could we include a link to the technical documentation for each raster layer within the API itself? Then it will show up automatically.

Example of raster information endpoint: https://ecoengine.berkeley.edu/api/rstore/pr_yr_ens-avg_amon_historical-1953-01-01/
