If you got JWChat from anonymous CVS you have to download JSJaC
separately. Please be sure to use the SVN version of JSJaC.
JSJaC can be found at http://zeank.in-berlin.de/jsjac/
Basic steps:
'cd' to jwchat's top-level directory
$ cd lib
$ svn co http://svn.stefan-strigler.de/jsjac/trunk/ jsjac
Now switch to the new directory jsjac and run make:
$ cd jsjac
$ make
If you need the Debugger integrated with JWChat go to its new project page
at http://zeank.in-berlin.de/javascript-debug-logger/
Basic steps:
'cd' to jwchat's top-level directory
$ cd lib
$ svn co http://svn.stefan-strigler.de/JSDebugger/trunk jsdebug
When done you can install by issuing "make install" (be sure to edit
src/config.js first!). This will create a set of translated html files.
There's a dedicated directory for each language (htdocs.en, htdocs.es,
htdocs.de etc.) and one containing all in one directory (htdocs/) for
usage with [1]apache's mod_negotiation. Copy the desired directory to
your configured web root (see README) or make your web root point to it.
Additional Requirements
=======================
For the Makefile to work you need perl-5.8 or newer plus some perl modules.
You can get them from CPAN (http://www.cpan.org).
* Encode::compat (to support perl < v5.8.0)
* Regexp::Common
* Locale::Maketext (>=1.01)
* Locale::Maketext::Lexicon (>=0.10)
( depends Locale::Maketext::Fuzzy )
