Version: Latest Flatpak (2024.13)
OS: Fedora 41

Receiving DCC files works but after around 10 seconds into the transfer, the transfer will pause for 1 second or so then continue downloading.

After another 10 to 14 seconds, transfer will again pause but this time after 3 mins, the transfer will timeout and an incomplete file is downloaded.

Quick update:
I am now using 2025.1 (Flatpak) and still having the same DCC issue. I figured, if Halloy supports file resume, I can just reinitiate the DCC receive as often as I need till file completion as a stop gap for this problem till this issue can be resolved.

Currently if I try to download the same file, I can only "Replace" and not "Resume" in Halloy.

Would that be possible?

I'm using Wayland but I keep Halloy opened in foreground as I want to monitor when the transfer will stall or stop. I will change to X11 desktop and try if it makes any difference

That is very kind of you to help test this, thanks 🙏

So I install X11 on Fedora 41 and tested Halloy again. Problem still persist. Hung after around 10 seconds.

Using 2025.2 (Flatpak).

@tarkah can you reproduce this on your x11?
