While the animation sequence is configurable, there should be a base set of facing, timing, and animation commands that provide a convincing simulation of the physical fishing process. These animations must:

  • play in the proper order
  • not short-circuit the fishing process when cancelled
  • be accompanied by appropriate SFX and VFX
