Become a sponsor to Franz Liedke
I am Franz Liedke, web developer and open-source enthusiast from Berlin, Germany.
I spend some of my free time to contribute to several open-source products used all over the globe. I have contributed improvements and patches to countless open-source projects, including the Laravel framework and many libraries in the Ruby ecosystem.
Most importantly, though, I develop and maintain awesome forum software:
- Flarum is beautiful and customizable forum software, with a modern UI and codebase.
- FluxBB is forum software for minimalists - it is essentially feature-complete, but maintenance and codebase modernization takes time as well.
Doing all of this next to a regular job can take a toll on my family and my free time, which in turn reduces the time and attention for improvements, bug and security fixes. Supporting me improves the maintenance level of my open-source software and allows me to spend more (paid) time on these projects.
Thanks for joining in!
