Become a sponsor to ZOO-Project
The ZOO-Project tends to become a reference implementation for the following defined/to be published Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards:
The ZOO-Project rely on the ZOO-Kernel which is a cgi binary able to dynamically load and execute services implemented in different programming languages or interacting with existing exciting GIS libraries such as: OTB and SAGA-GIS.
The ZOO-Project is able to execute remote OTB services by using SLURM through a Secure SHell (SSH) connexion to the High Performance Computing (HPC) server.
The ZOO-Kernel get the capability to automatically publish result whatever is the GIS data type of the output is possible with the help of the MapServer software.
Now we are digging in searching for solutions to the "When you cannot bring the horse to the water, you should bring the water the horse." kind-of problem. Meaning bringing the service on the nearest computing node to the data.
