Hi, I'm Hugo! 🖐️

I've started to contribute to the open-source in 2013 - when I was still in high school - by sending some pull requests to various libraries I've used on my personal projets.

Then I've started to create my own open-source projects. The first projects were a PHP wrapper around Xidel (CLI tool to extract data from HTML/XML/JSON) and a PHP library to detect the user's device type. To be honest I think they were only used by me... 😅

Some years have passed. I've contributed more on open-source projects (e.g.: Vue French Translation, Symfony Webpack Encore, Symfony documentation, DefinitlyTyped, ...) and I gained a lot of code and human experience.

Now I'm happy to have some of my open-source projects being used by a lot of people, here is an exhaustive list:

• 🧩 vue-web-extension, a vue CLI template for making a web extension using Vue, Webpack, ESLint... better alternatives exist now!
• 📗 jsdoc-vuejs: a JSDoc plugin for documenting .vue files same, better alternatives exist now!
• 🔢 vue-numerals, a Vue plugin which setup Numeral.js inside your components
• 🗺️ vuetify-algolia-places, a Vue/Vuetify integration for Algolia Places AlgoliaPlaces has been deprecated for years now
• 📧 Symony Mailer Testing, which allows to test emails sent by the Symfony Mailer in Behat or Cypress
• 🆕 💅🏻 BiomeJsBundle, a Symfony Bundle allowing developers to use Biome.js, the super-fast code linter and formatter, without Node.js needs!

Since, I've contributed more and more to open-source, mainly on Webpack Encore and on Symfony UX in 2024. I'm now part of the Symfony UX Core Team, and I'm working on UX, Webpack Encore, and other JavaScript packages from Symfony, on my free time.
