Describe the bug
Friend's Activity does not work most of the time.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Click on the 'Friends Activity Button'
2. Friend's list does not show up
3. Click on the rotating CD as the music plays
4. Click on the 'Friends Activity Button' again
5. Friend's list appears very briefly before disappearing again

Expected behavior
Clicking on 'Friends Activity Button' should show the friend's activity list.

Screenshots
When you do Step 1 and 2 the friend's activity list does not show at all.

When you click on the CD it correctly shows this.

However once I click on the 'Friends Activity Button' again from this screen the friend's list appears for a very short while before going back to the first screenshot.
