16 px for nodes. Maybe 24 or 32 pixels for craftitems, as because the texture is not displayed on a cube, pixellation is more visible. |
I'm starting out with PixelPerfectionv3.6. I've loved this texture pack and it's CC-BY-SA-4.0 Xssheep. It converts well in mcresconvert, so I might just try to avoid doing textures altogether as long as I can by using this fantastic set. I've converted the default character skin to a multi-layer skin for the default player model skin, and this is looking well. |

These are great. However, I've pretty much discontinued this project entirely. Much of the ideas of this project lives on in the hidden worlds project, instead. |

Texture size vs Pixel size consistency
16px or 32px? or even 24px?
pixel style
color palettes for each biome/environment
rgb or indexed.
alpha channel allowed?
animated node textures
low saturation, avoid cartoon style coloring.
dark but realistic
