I was trying to follow video about the tutorial of socket.io chatting program, which was using snowpack.
At the 4:35 of the video, the snowpack was successfully run, but in my case, I got the following error.

Module "@socket.io/component-emitter" has no exported member "default". Did you mean to use "import default from '@socket.io/component-emitter'" instead?

I was not using the whole codes in the video and changed some details as three files as follows:

server.js

const io = require("socket.io")(5500, {
   cors: {
      origin: ['http://localhost:8080'],
   }
});

io.on('connection', (socket) => {
   console.log(socket.id);
});

script.js

import { Manager } from "socket.io-client";

const socket = Manager('http://localhost:5500');

socket.on('connect', () => {
    console.log(socket.id);
});

index.html

   <head>
      <meta charset="'UTF-8">
      <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width">

I also installed phaser3 for both 'client' folder and 'server' folder.

What can be the problem? Should I install component-emitter individually?

Also, preiously it shown somewhat different error;

Module "engine.io-client" has no exported member "default". Did you mean to use "import default from 'engine.io-client'" instead?

I wish this can be a hint.

I found that this is a problem of snowpack; this problem was not produced when using vite.

I found that the information is not sufficient.

I installed four npm libraries in client; express, phaser, snowpack and socket.io-client.
Also I installed four npm libraries in server; express, nodemon, phaser, socket.io.
