Focus mode confusing for logged out users

Right now, we are offering the focus mode to logged out users. If you switch focus mode on and then off, not all children are uncollapsed. This is no problem if you have the hide/expand option in the bottom left corner of a post, but as a logged out user, you can't see the vote buttons component.
