Npm install did not help with npm start or anythign esle

I followed instructions and did npm install, then i tried running the scripts and that did not work at all. I have updated node and updated all the dependencies and still not working.

The steps following may be helpful:

1. delete node_modules folder and all its files
2. revert the package.json file to the original version
3. change your node version to 16 (this is the key point)
4. run npm i then npm start
