Explain what a additive model is and example and connection to boosting (either in intro oder gradient boosting concept chunk).

BB: we should have a chunk (7 slides or so) on GAM but in the regression chapter. this will be a good foundation for what's to come later in boosting etc. Check slides by Andi Groll (TU Dortmund) for that.
