Is slate still actively maintained?

Hi,

I'm really happy I've discovered this project and grateful for the work you've done to create it and keep it alive.
I'm just wondering if there's a roadmap or anything of that sort to indicate that it's still in active development?

If I look at the commit/release history , it seems that there's some maintenance/fixes now-and-then, but no active development anymore?

I've burned my fingers on several documentation frameworks before, all of which seemed nice at first, but turned out to not be actively maintained in the end; and then we had to move on to something else and basically start from scratch. So I would really like to know if this project is still "alive" before I commit to using it for production :)
