i think we need to refine what to say here, but here's a starting point:

Let’s say you’re a chump who hasn’t written tests yet cuz they haven’t set up a whole testing harness yet, chosen some library, set up some script that runs tests, etc. etc. How can Steno help you make sure things are working as you intended as you “tested” manually by trying stuff in Slack with your hands.

i think the answer is… let’s help you get out of the business of all that manual stuff. the first step is do it manually one more time and get it recorded. then lets point you at some resources that can help you do all the setup/harness stuff. now you can start explicitly writing down what you want your app to do.
