Hi All,
1st off, I hope its ok to raise an idea for an update in here - apologies if it needs to go elsewhere.
2nd off, its good to see some rumblings on MFR again, I can't say I've seen anything out there that matches the logic of a Programmable Rednet Controller without going overboard full coding, this is a great boon to teaching low level IO logic and does it well. Kudos to that as a creation.
Anyways.

I have a new block suggestion.

I see this as an addition to the Programmable Rednet side of things. The idea being a 'RedNet Junction Box'. Something thats not as large as the Rednet Controller but does allow rednet connections on all sides. The idea being its interface would be along the same lines of the rednet controller but, with one difference, the only available item in the menu would be a 'passthrough' option. Maybe have 6 panels in the interface, each panel having all the colours with a 'passthrough' to one of the other sides.

The idea being you could build this 'cheaper' than the rednet controller - maybe a subtle upgrade to the frame but its only job would be to passthrough rednet signal. I've done builds before where I've needed to connect rednet segments together and had to use a full on controller just to remap segments together so would see this as an ideal addition.

Aesthetically, if it could be a 'smaller' box just big enough to allow rednet cable from all sides to connect, then you can see over them if its in a tight place.

Again,
Thanks for re-kindling this mod for modern MC - looking forward to it!
