Reverse Option

Thanks. Have you tried creating an automation in the apple's default home.app? I have the option to set a trigger on "sensors ends detecting something". This should work in your case or do I got you wrong?

yes an automation does the trick also but you have to assign a certain output to the automation. and I would just like to receive a notification without activating an output.
also... im using a plugin that doesn't support cached accessories and everytime homebridge reboots I have to put the automations in again.
so if the plugin could set a trigger on "leaving home" I would not have to deal with that

Now I understand, you want a "person left"-trigger for each person, to trigger the home.app push-notifications. That should be possible, but I have not much spare time for this hobby-project at the moment, so it could take a while until this is done. If you are willing to learn nodeJS, feel free and make a PR ;)

I know absolutely nothing about nodeJS, don't even know what a PR is, but im willing to take a look at it.
could you point me out to where I could learn this or find info about learning it?
