That's Rez, isn't it? Same happens to me. Japanese DC games often use higher rendering methods at certain points that this emulator can't render for now. In this case, it's the cube at the end of each layer. But it's not the only game: Puyo Pop Fever's 3D menu secret can't render either, and the same goes for the angle change after a trick finish in Cosmic Smash (the view's still there, but after that it crashes). Currently there's no way to fix this yourself, but Reicast Gold's planned to be made in the future, and hopefully it will fix this issue (and maybe some others too). There's no choice but to wait.
