Some menu kinds are not thought to be displayed and, in fact, their polymorphic_path or url_for may fail because there's no route available in the routing system (think of menu items that must be activated in certain actions which link would need some extra info).

When menu items of these kinds are published they make the whole application crash. They never should be displayed.
