Considering PHP5.3 end of life was March 2013, and are only giving bug fixing support (as of today, the last PHP5.3 is PHP 5.3.27 ), we should consider PHP 5.4 the new standard and use traits.

We can use traits and any other 5.4 feature in sifo 3.

The 3.0 version is just to structure the code so we will introduce it starting in 3.1
