containers randomly not starting with Error: failed to create containerd task: failed to create shim task

A container which restarts randomly errors out with the following error message:

kubelet  Error: failed to create containerd task: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: runc create failed: unable to start container process: error during container init: error mounting "/var/lib/kubelet/pods/564eea30-a8c1-4649-ac41-799aeb7c77b1/containers/ubuntu/d35d96bc" to rootfs at "/dev/termination-log": possibly malicious path detected -- refusing to operate on /run/containerd/io.containerd.runtime.v2.task/k8s.io/ubuntu/rootfs/dev/termination-log (deleted)

I am running a 4-nodebare metal talos cluster v1.10.3 with kubernetes 1.32.3 on Poweredge R630 servers and cilium as the CNI. I have also setup Rook ceph for persistent storage.

This looks like a runc security protection, but hard to guess unless you provide a reproducer for this.
