sfsu's search command shows if a package is currently installed and it would be good if scoop-search could do this too. I use sfsu for other command but prefer to use scoop-search for the search command as it gives better results, as it also searches for the package shims (as does scoop's native search).

The only reason this isn't done, is the want to be as the native search. As far as I know scoop does not show that, does it? Maybe it has changed since I first implemented this
