The Kron4ek's fork allow Proton to work without Steam and is up-to-date.

Wine GE was archived to focus on UMU and Proton-GE.

It will increase the compatibility and improve performance.

This goes into the same direction as #288 and #622.
I've started implementing the support for multiple wine versions/variants last year, but got held up by IRL and other projects.
