Problems on display with low resolution

Dear all, first of all I would like to thank you for the great PyGPSClient. We encountered one significant problem when using it. On a low-resolution display (1024 px on the longer side), the entire UBX config window does not open. Due to the missing scroll bar, it is not possible to use the functions on the right side of the window. The whole window can be moved, minimized, etc., but the content on the right edge is still missing. Would you be able to suggest a solution? When using a display with a higer resolution, the entire UBX config window opens.

Sorry you're having difficulties. PyGPSClient was originally configured to work at resolutions as low as 800x600 but as functionality has evolved it's increasingly difficult to work within the constraints of very low resolution screens. I can't suggest a quick fix at this point but I can look into making the config dialogs scrollable in the next release. Does the main UI work OK for you at 1024 resolution?

Leave it with me for now. Out of interest, what platform are you running on?

Thank you for your quick reaction. Main UI is fine at 1024 resolution. We are using Win11 on LattePanda computer. Today I succeded to configure the ZED-F9 to reliably store raw data in the u-blox u-center software, however originally I found it more convenient to do it via pygpsclient.

I'm working on an enhancement which will make all pop-up main dialogs, including the UBX and NMEA configuration dialogs, scrollable and resizeable, based on a minimum viable resolution of 800x600. Hopefully this should resolve your problem.

It'll be in RC 1.5.11 but I can't give you a definite release date for that at this stage - probably looking at late August.

Here are some screen shots on Windows at 1024x768 and 800x600 resolution - the scrollbars take effect whenever the effective screen resolution is smaller than the dialog dimensions:
