Hi @sdwfrost ,

It was great experience while using Phylowidget, thanks for such a nice package! I would like to suggest/know following things,

  1. The display of phylogenetic tree in viewer pane is disabled. Is there any option/way to display it viewer pane.
  2. How to save the phylowidget view in html page through R command? I wish to use them for later use.

Thanks,

@sdwfrost

Dear @pandurang-kolekar

This package is deprecated in favour of epiwidgets, partly to collect together some related widgets, as well as to drop the already-used phylowidget name. You should use that instead. I've added an option to send to the browser (default is the viewer, which seems to work OK now).

As for saving the view (the disk icon only saves the Newick string), I use SVG Crowbar, which will save the SVG. As for saving the state of the viewer, that isn't implemented yet.

Best
Simon

Thanks @sdwfrost for the information!
I will try with that one.
