I'd like to raise the feature of standalone pages. I think we're all probably familiar with Pages that most blog software allows the option of making. Wordpress does a much better job at explaining than me, for anyone who is not familiar.
I think these would be a good complement to the drummer blog posts. We do have the About page functionality but this is just a single page. It would be good to leverage the drummer outliner to publish other pages that all fit the same style etc. e.g. list of my favourite books, or websites I like to visit or anything that doesn't want to get "lost" in time.
We do already have an option to build a standalone page in Drummer, but (in my testing) doesn't quite render in a suitable manner. In OldSchoolBlog there's comments about how to make a page, but the format is a new hierarchy in one's blog.opml like this:
With attributes type=page and relpath=my-page.html set on headline.
However, the final output's direct link URLs link to non-real items and the headline is also a link to a non-real item. Here's an example.
From my perspective, resolving these minor link issues would give everything needed but opening it up for discussion on the idea and alternatives etc. Thanks.
