Hi! We remember that this project exists but we didn't have plans to work on it in the past years and currently we are planning to sunset it and make sure we don't recommend using it anywhere. Please move to playwright if you want a locally run headless browser.

Though if there are some critical problems with Splash that can be fixed easily please let us know.

@wRAR Thanks for the quick response. I'm not familiar with QtWebkit, but I take it that Splash is built on it.

@joe-dycom if you aren't familiar with QtWebkit then you likely don't have a reason to use Splash and can simply switch to better alternatives such as playwright.
