Callbacks for the view operation

Can we have at some point some callbacks for the view (read) operation?

Yep, I was going to take a look at that this weekend.
I'll TRY to add all the same features the other functions have.
Also, with a little bit of luck I might be able to add a 'tags' field to
the extended field types :)
