Can anyone provide some insight when it comes to scaling the physical size of the split-flap letter to the point where the letters themselves are 12" (305mm) tall? I have to assume that normal stepper motors as specified in this project will not handle that large of letters? Or...?
If I go with normal stepper motors and gearing to increase torque, that will slow the rotation of the letters. If that's the case, does the control code need tweaking due to the slower response time?
Thanks!
