For now we have exactly as many as are supported, so long as we omit the empty
institution for Saul and the institution for the consortium. If we need to add
an additional author we will need an upstream fix.

Mkay so I took a quick look at this, and this appears related to the limited number of footnote markers that latex supports. According to the internet there is a package that we can use to define additional footnote marks, but I don't think I'll be able to get this resolved today. How many institutions were you hoping to have listed?

We managed to be just at the limit for our paper, so for now this isn't an issue for us.

Okay thanks for letting me know. I'll keep this issue open as a reminder for us to look into this again after the conference.
