core: renaming files in settings folder crashes file explorer on windows #654

I think Windows might struggle with files that are empty have a size of 0 bytes? I notice this only happens when editing the SD card directly. Might just be my computer/SD reader so worth a double check in case I am just tripping.

Error I'm getting trying to copy into stuff is:
"Error 0x800703EE: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid"

I can't replicate ....I think that's a weird SD card problem, like Windows doesn't like how it is formatted.

@Izaakthegreat can you try re-formatting the card on Windows and then try renaming the files?
