see https://docs.scala-lang.org/scala3/reference/contextual/givens.html still shows the old givens syntax.

looking at the language-reference-stable branch it seems the last sync was done for 3.5

Before I took over some of Pawełs responsibilities we talked about language-reference-stable branch. At that time we concluded that we might not need it anymore since Scaladoc is stable, and keeping 2 branches with documentation might lead to split brain scenarios.

I thought that we can use single reference at https://www.scala-lang.org/api/current/docs/index.html but this one is polluted by both:

I don't know a full story of way did we needed a separate reference and reference+api pages, and as a user I'm confused, especially because that's probably the first time I've ever entered https://docs.scala-lang.org/scala3/reference/

I'll handled the synchronisation of current reference that was missing since 3.6, but I believe we should discuss where Reference and API should be available.

I wasnt aware that from 3.4 you started keeping the docs with the api (they were previously API only)
