I have tried re-indexing the .bib file several times, even quitting and relaunching logseq, but no matter what I do I can't find this item when I run the "cite" command.

@inbook{rubyRobertGardnerAnthropological2000,
  title = {Robert {{Gardner}} and {{Anthropological Cinema}}},
  booktitle = {Picturing {{Culture}}: {{Explorations}} of {{Film}} and {{Anthropology}}},
  year = {2000},
  month = aug,
  pages = {95--113},
  publisher = {{University of Chicago Press}},
  collaborator = {Ruby, Jay},
  isbn = {978-0-226-73098-1},
  keywords = {/unread,✅,Zotero Export (2022-07-15)},
  file = {/Users/[name of root folder]/Zotero Zotero Storage/storage/3B2UBHZH/2000 - Robert Gardner and Anthropological Cinema.pdf}
}

I have the same problem. Some citations just do not show up in the search no matter what. I double checked that they are in the .bib file and that there are no problems in it.

Example citations:

@book{obluski-2021-bayuda,
  title = {Bayuda and Its {{Neighbours}}},
  editor = {Obłuski, Artur and Paner, Henryk and Masojć, Mirosław},
  date = {2021-01},
  publisher = {{Brepols Publishers}},
  location = {{Turnhout, Belgium}},
  doi = {10.1484/M.NUBIA-EB.5.127929},
  urldate = {2023-03-13},
  isbn = {978-2-503-59906-9 978-2-503-59907-6},
  langid = {english},
  file = {C\:\\Users\\xxxxxx\\Zotero\\storage\\WHR8ENZT\\Obłuski et al. - 2021 - Bayuda and its Neighbours.pdf}
}

I have the same problem, and I'm pretty sure that the missing author is the reason.

After changing the publisher field in Zotero to author, I could find the entry in Logseq. The same issue also arises when the author field is empty in Zotero.

I didn't look too deep, but it looks like the search popup uses the author field for the preview. Maybe that being null is preventing the record from appearing in the results.
