i understand that it might not as simple as it sounds, but if that could be implemented in some way it would be great.

probably people would want to customize here a lot.

i guess this needs further discussion.

Hi @ivankovnatsky ! Yeah, that could be a good addition. I am on the lookout for feature creep, but since this is an install time kind of setup I'd be open to adding it. It's probably just a matter of asking the user whether they'd like drive encryption and then asking for a disk password I suppose?

Samuel, yeah, I think using at least luks2 encryption would be good. But in the long run people might want to add another types of encryption.

What I do: https://github.com/ivankovnatsky/nixos-config#partition-the-disk

a bit more complex, though we can ask for an encryption option and if so, setup it.

(thanks for your time working on this tool, i did not test it, though it surely simplifies the install process).
