Hey @samliddicott , thanks so much for this!
I've got it compiling, but getting errors with my cam (the obsbot tiny4k).
I assume it's something to do with you just matching the ID of the meet4k in your driver patching? I can't figure out where in your code you are doing that matching, and how to find the same ID to match my cam as well.

Would love a little help with that.

And I couldn't (quickly enough, had to get back to my other programming work) work out how to turn on v4l debugging. Seems you have debugging if statements in the driver. How do I turn them on? Is it just a matter of changing
AM_DEFAULT_VERBOSITY in the config.in or something? Or can I pass it in as an env var when starting guvciew ?

Thanks again! I'd really like to get the pan_relative (and zoom/tilt) going, as the relative doesn't work for my use case (a dial keyboard to adjust it).
And (on my driver at least) pan_speed (and tilt_speed) is busted, it just rapidly moves to position 1 (pan right as far as possible) at all settings. Then resets to slow speed, so I can't use pan_absolute with the dials.. Hope that all makes sense!
