[Feature]: Am I there yet. Implement alert sound. #806

Description

@BLACKSTORM-18

Problem Statement

Currently all it does is just vibrate the device.
Which most ppl won't notice in rough terrains and while sleeping.
Lots of ppl doze off (I do a lot anyway) so it's a very useful feature.

Proposed Solution

it'll be much better if instead of just vibration, use the alarm tone set in the system . So when the destination is reached it should vibrate and ring the set alarm tone untill dismissed.

Make it toggleable. Some users may prefer vibration only.

Also, make the dismiss button a gesture or something, like swiping from left to right, since accidental touches can currently easily dismiss the alarm.

Priority

High - Critical for my use case

Contribution

  • I would be willing to implement this feature

Additional Context

Some very very low priority suggestions.

  1. So since it uses alarm based thingies decreasing or increasing the alarm sound in the sound control panel will affect this right? So personally I prefer to keep my system alarm volume full but the travel alarm a custom volume level since I'll be out in the public. So having a volume adjustment for the alert tone within essentials app would be much better so it'll be independent of volume control stuff. But even if not it's OK since users can just decrease the alarm volume from the volume panel according to their use case.
  2. Currently dismiss button stops the tracking and everything. Instead add one another button. Which'll stop the alert and all but still keeps tracking till the distance become 10 metres or 0 metre or something. So basically it'll let users who set the trigger radius as 400 metres or maybe even kms still track their destination.
    If u add that make both buttons gestures not just single tap.
