  1. Go to Settings > Editor > Color Scheme > Dart
  2. Click on the gear icon ⚙️ and select Duplicate... to preserve the original scheme
  3. Select the type you want to edit from the list. For example select Parameter reference for widget parameters
  4. Uncheck Inherit values from
  5. Select a new color. For the white color just uncheck Forderground
  6. Click on Apply
  7. You might need to restart your IDE for the changes to take effect
