unsupported evdev codes by Wacom Intuos BT M Pen

monitoring the keypresses of my drawing tablet (Wacom Intuos BT M Pen) i get these error messages while pressing each of the four buttons on the tablet from left to right:

this is unfortunate because i would like to remap these since my wayland compositor seems to be unable to do so.
