There are a few records in the latest GRID dump that have the type for the external identifier from ISNI (1x) and Wikidata (6x) listed as LinkedIn, which got copied into the ROR data. This should be fixed in GRID of course (I have reported them), but I think it would be a good idea to do some (extra?) sanity checks during the sync, which would e.g. flag the appearance of a new identifier type

Dear Martijn, thanks a lot for reporting these! We've corrected the type and it will be in the next GRID release.
So if you want to include checks in the process for detecting unexpected things like this, it'll need to be tested against the current release, as a new one won't have these mistakes anymore
