Going to flag this as "help wanted" since we can't be sure the Waveshare device will work without further testing. The fact that the Waveshare repo hasn't been updated in a long time makes it questionable. Until it can be better verified it can sit in it's own branch. If someone really has need of it perhaps they can help verify. |

Here's my attempt at waveshare 12.48-inch support (#70). Untested, as I don't have one.
The repo doesn't have a setup.py / setup.cfg, so it can't be installed with pip. It also hasn't been updated in two years.
