Interesting experiment!

France has this nifty API called OpenFisca that could do the computation in a rather straightforward way: https://embauche.beta.gouv.fr/openfisca/api/2/formula/salaire_net_a_payer?salaire_de_base=2500

As that kind of approach generalises to other countries, can the “Zero external dependencies” stated goal really stand?
