Sharing News links on Facebook

Currently it is cumbersome to share News posts on Facebook: images aren't automatically picked up by Facebook and you just see text. To get around this, we have to upload the images separately and post separate links. I think this has to do with the page code and where Facebook finds the images. This describes what I mean (though there might be more current info available):

It would be much better if the pages were coded in a way that would let Facebook pick up the images.

Update: Sometimes Facebook picks up the News image, but sometimes it doesn't.
