Long time no see!
2023 was a quiet year for Risk-First: I was pretty much all-consumed with my job at FINOS/Linux Foundation trying to produce training and certifications for the finance industry.
However, there's lots of interesting things afoot in 2024, here's the first one: Risk-First is now using Docusaurus. There are a couple of advantages to this for me: first, I am able to re-use a lot of the tags I built for my Open Source Readiness website (again, over at FINOS). This should mean I'm able to create much better indexing and content structuring for Risk-First going forward.
Second, Docusaurus runs using node, which I use all the time and is a lot easier for me to work with than Jekyll, which runs on Ruby. Docusaurus is also designed as a documentation site first, rather than a blogging platform, which I think suits us here.
Finally, Docusaurus has a great Algolia search integration (again, something I've used before) so now Risk-First is searchable, which is a big win, even just for my use. Go Check it out!
and I have some more really exciting Risk-First news to share with you later in the year 🤞 - stay tuned!
