WaybackProxy does not work (at all)

It was working yesterday, but now it wont do anything with a proxy. I have everything set up right, but the websites are the same. Hard to explain, but it just broke. nothing output in logs except for:

[-] Date set to 19981025

This is a puzzling issue I have failed to reproduce myself. Try browsing to the WaybackProxy's http://ip:port on a modern machine, it should return a 404 error, and that will validate that the proxy is at least listening.

yes. it does work like that. I have tried all the solutions, even trying to force read it. I'm on windows 11 + windows 95
